I am structuring my time around projects and learning. In September, I had a few things I wanted to do with my time off but I am finding that if I don’t schedule it, I don’t do it. Therefore, I am declaring Wednesdays to be Website Wednesdays. Wednesdays will be the day I work on getting my websites online or researching how to get more online. All-in-all, it should end up being very productive.
I also have Filing Fridays. All I do all day long on Fridays is file and enter finances. I guess Fridays really are Filing and Finance Fridays.
Tuesdays are for doing things or making lists of things to do for each project I’m working on: To Do Tuesdays.
I was struggling with Mondays, because I couldn’t find something to relate it to. I had Moxie Mondays for a day because that was the best I could come up with. However, today somebody reminded me that I want to learn more about multi-media, video, tracks, and audio-visual story-telling. Therefore, I am declaring Mondays to be Multi-Media Mondays.
I also wouldn’t mind visiting some museums or photo galleries in San Franciso. That was on my list of things to do this summer that I never did. Steve suggested Sightseeing Sundays. I like it. It fits.
I was stuck on what make Thursdays. I have a few minds mulling it over with me. The best one we can come up with though is Thumbprint Thursdays. This means I will have to get a job at Thumbprint Cellars–and it will have to be on Thursdays. I wonder if I could swing that? And what do I schedule on Saturdays?
Oh gosh Jen, there are sooo many things to do in your area – no doubt you will fill a month of Sunday’s!!! – but, here’s how I might spend some time — rent a bike in SF, and cycle the GG bridge, hike in the park opposite SF, and spend the night in the youth hostel there. Spend a day in Guernville (sp?), watch the sunset at Elk (coastal town) and go to that curry restaurant slightly south of it for dinner, walk the fault line in Point Reyes, go to the Bovine Bakery at Point Reyes Station, sleep and attend a yoga class in the Monterey light house, visit the Monterey aquarium, or Hearst castle, find one of those knitting cafes and knit something (or just cast on), camp in the BIG trees, go on a walking tour of Haight Ashbury (they built your city on Rock n’ Rowwwwll), enjoy grapes straight from the vine, pilfer strawberries from the fields of Watsonville, CA (just one or two maybe), eat ice cream and lots of it!! Watch “The Birds” and visit Bodega Bay, where the movie was filmed. Eat at the Tides restaurant and let me know if it’s any good. we’re in London right now visiting relatives. Having a great time! Hugs and kisses xxoo
Sadly, it seems that I have Fuckoff Fridays. For sightseeing some Sunday, if you feel like walking, go on a hike from Pomo Canyon out to the ocean. I think if you Google “pomo canyon hike sonoma” or something the directions will pop up.
