Dakhká Khwáan Dancers at the Adäka Cultural Festival in Whitehorse

Last week we went to a few events at the Adäka Cultural Festival in Whitehorse. Here is a video and some of the Dakhká Khwáan Dancers.

I have been an expat from the Yukon for 20 years and an expat from Canada for ten. From all of those years living outside of the Yukon and now, outside of Canada, I feel the one thing that makes Canada distinctly unique is our First Nations peoples and cutlures. Here are some more pictures from that event.
