19 November 2007, Mr. Pineapple Head debuts on the Internet

I wanted to make a friend a housewarming gift. She’s just renovated a large part of her house and it was time to have people over. I was trying to think of something that was consumable–yet humourous. I thought Mr. Pineapple Head was a good idea.

Charlie came over on Friday night. We made this epic lasagna (I make awesome lasagna, but each one is a story in itself). And we created Mr. Pineapple Head. It turns out that pineapples are the symbol of outstanding hospitality and friendship. What luck–it fits in with my series of random events life-theme.

I hope Julie becomes a long-time friend. The jury’s out on Charlie though. Ha!
