One day last month, my team had an off-site meeting at this wildlife Safari park in Sonoma County: Safari West. It was definitely an interesting day. We started around 10 am. At 12h00, we had lunch, then we were lucky enough to get a walking tour of the immediate property (which means that we didn’t get to see the buffalo, zebras, or anything else on the actual safari tour). But we saw enough.
We saw this giraffe (now how random is that in California?). Actually, there were quite a few giraffes, but this particular giraffe had a skin condition. He had something like acne on his butt. So–of course, I have to blog about the giraffe in California with acne on his butt. Do you think he has issues or what? Poor thing.
I didn’t take a picture. I thought I would leave him his dignity and not document such an embarrassment. As if you would want to your picture spread all over the internet with a pluke on your forehead (or your butt!). But–you have to admit, it is quite random (and a bit odd) that I can find a giraffe in California with a skin condition on his butt.
